Diza is a Javanese American writer, producer, and director who was raised in the tropical archipelago of Hawai’i. They are fond of ghosts, cultural folklore, and queer anecdotes, and inject genre narratives with an intimate human tenderness.

Diza has previously been a Summer Intern at UTA, a Film Producing Intern for Valerie Steinberg, a Campus Brand Manager for Max (previously HBO Max), an Editorial Intern at MTV, and the Co-Head of Undergraduate Staff at the Yale Asian American Cultural Center.

In 2022, they were named a Gotham EDU Film and Media Career Development Fellow and MTV Joel Schumacher & Sophia Cranshaw Mentorship Awardee.
